| Hi, In addition to some of the above, I think ludo and snake and ladder too was quite popular. Besides that the game--- name, place, animal,thing( we are still playing..) and chinese checkers were quite a few.There were many more---I will come back as I recall them.. Bye |

| I htink many of the games we used to play in our generation ??? were also games which were in some way a contributory factor to your well being ..I remember playing "yezhu kallu"... the act of looking up and down trying to catch the stones .. was the perfect exercise for the eyes!! games which were played with simple things like "pulian kottai" ... enhanced your counting skills ... games like Paandi ...we played them as games .. ensured that the calories were burnt effectively and now I pay for doing these at the aerobics class !!!!! ![]() Ofcourse in the peak summer there were always card games to be played, snake and ladder, Ludo ... miss those days cheers Bhooma |
