Smile Poems by Farha, Safa's daughter.

these poems are written by my daughter Farha, who is eight and half years old.

WISHES

I wish I could be a mermaid,
And play with my friends in the water.
I don't want to live with the sun,
Where its more and more hotter.

I wish I could live in the heaven,
Where its nice and cool.
I don't want to live in the hell,
Where we can't be bold.

Then at last I understood that,
No more wishes for me.
Because God came and told me that,
Never wish anything more than you have, my child.

THE SKY AND THE SEA

sea-The sun and the stars
Are the yellow painted chocolate bars
sky-The calm sea is blue
It is always happy like you!

sky-The stones and pebbles are black
I had collected many and put them in a sack
sea- what are those fluffy-fluffy things?
sky-These are the clouds, as pretty as golden rings!

sea- what is this?
sky- this is the moon,
before hundred years
he had granted me a boon!

Default Brilliant

Dear Safa,

Really nice poems, that too from an eight year old. Farha has a way with words. Did you send her poems to The Hindu? They have a section Young World where such impressive work gets published.Good luck to Farha in writing more. (And pls share it with us in IL).

warm regards
Vidya

Default Tenderness captured!

Dear Safa,

The poems really show how beautiful and compassionate your daughter is. Such innocent words, yet such powerful messages!

We adults could learn a thing or two from little Farha:)

Love
Shal

Default cute!

Dear Safa,

Those poems were sweet and reflected the imagination of farah. Every child imagines and relates to nature, but not all have the power to pen it down like farah has done.
Let all her thoughts flow in the form of ink and flood the paper with beautiful poetry. I wish her all the best in life.

Default Congratulations, Proud Mother!

Dear Safa,
Farha has a way with the words. The expressions are fresh, soft and sweet. Considering Farha's age, I should say, it's great poetry. May Farha be ever blessed by the All Merciful.
Take good care of her and nurture her talents. Encourage her to write more.
Convey my good wishes to her,
Varalotti

Default cute poems...

Dear Safa,

Very cute poems from Farha.
She seems to be imaginative.
I think all she needs right now is support & encouragement from you & people around. Nice to know her work got published in school magazines.
All the very best for this little poet.

Love,
