Kasavu skirt material required

Hello everyone,

I will be visiting my native next month and am looking for buying a kasavu skirt for my daughter who is two and half. Where can I get the good material.Can anyone tell me which are the good shops where i could make a purchase. Am looking for original kasavu and the approximate cost. I will be visiting Thrissur, Ernankulam, thiruvalla and Chengannur.

Hi Sherin, you can check with any silk shops. In Trivandrum, we get it in all silk showrooms. There is also one showroom exclusively for kerala sarees, set mundu and materials. Name itself is KASAVUKADA. But i'm not sure about the other places that you have mentioned.

Thanks for your reply. we are visiting for a very short period. In that if there is any particular shop i can do the shopping in a jiffy and am asking for a kasavu skirt(kerala saree material) and not a pattu pavada. Most of them they confuse.Silk skirts are available in chennai in a better quality.
