If you ask me about TCR,probably I can write much more than this website allows.Oh my God,I miss everything about my home town.My thoughts, my dreams, even my breath is always associated with that city.Living in the most spectacular city in the world, I always think of my small city, masala dosa, pathans and india gate rest.,the ever smiling autorikshaw drivers, swaraj round, paramekkavu temple, vadakkumnathan, thiruvambady, puthan pally perunnal, karimbin juice, thrissur pooram, the typical thrissur accented talk, the crowd in round, ramadas, ragam ,swapna, jose theaters, thekkumkadu maithanam, amby swamy's sadya and the x'tian wedding food.................i can go on and on and on...
I miss Thrissur..my childhood friends, family, even the makara maasa kaatu, the fish man who is coming in the cycle, evening walks around the city , soda sarbath, small time poovalans, who will pass nice comments which makes us little bit happy...oh, it's never ending...public library, sahithya acadamy hall, indore stadium, chavakkadu and nattika beaches........................................... .................................................. ................
I have special memories about thrissur.I can tell you something-wherever you go, whatever you do in life--nothing can match the satisfaction you get when you are in your home town.
love you all...
LOVE from LOS ANGELES, USA

near by zoo or holly family or Dr.ramachandran home,Where??????
I heared the monsoon has started in Thrissur.Next monday, the schools will be reopening and all the kids will be going to the class with wet ,wet uniform...it's nice to have parippuvada and chaya while it's raining outside.I still remember a small shop near collectorate, Ayyanthole which owned by a lady who sells hot hot parippuvada, pazham pory, baji, uzhunnu vada and ofcourse one of the best tea I ever had in my life. She has 2 young boys assisting her and if you tell them, you want tea in such a way, they will make it for you. There will be a huge crowd infront of her shop in the evening..If any one of you going to trissur, for the holidays(most gulf countries r having summer break from july -right?)try it--it's worth....don't worry about the PETTY KADA......whenever i go to India, I frequent her shop.I know our social and cultural back ground doesn't allow a girl to go to a petty kada---- if so ask some one else to buy for you!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you remember the Mullappoo vendors sitting in front of the paramekkavu temple? When you pass there, the alluring smell will make you go crazy.I haven't seen mullappoo for long!!!!!!!who are all going for holidays, let me know..............................
Lots of hugs...(i suspect I did a mistake....this is actually meant for revathy's thread)
LOVE
here in LA, we don't get fresh parippuvada...we will have to make it or buy some frozen stuff coming from kerala. You know what, it's always more tasty when someone else makes it for you.
You know what , I really want to apologize for my wrong doing....i was writing a reply for you thread, but accidently I posted it as a new thread....you can see it in the forum....sorry..I didn't mean anything...just an unforseen mistake....Sorry darling!!
