Hello, Dear Malayalee friends,

I am shobhana from Ottapalam ( Palghat Dist). I was brought up in Delhi and I have been in US for the past 16 years. It is wonderful to see so many ILites from Kerala. Nice thread to meet malayalee friends at one place.

Let me introduce.. I'm sujithra from tripunithura, ernakulam dist.I've spent most of my life in my hometown. Anybody from ernakulam?
I'm presently in tanzania. My husband's job is transferable, so we keep on moving from one country to another. In a way its good, but i hate packing and unpacking.. We were in vietnam for 4 yrs , now its tanzania.Its been 1 yr now we've shifted to this place..Its quite a good place to be. It looks jus like kerala, with the same kind of trees,plants n flowers. Almost similar climate too.. But seasons come in different months here..

Here malayalees have a good association , called kalamandalam.They do alla our festivals and activities. They are very active.. More abt tanzania in the next post...

Hope u r fine.. I'm from kochi... but staying in tanzania presently. We celebrated vishu very well... saw vishukkani, made traditional sadya.. i don't want the kids to miss out on any of our festivals...
Where are u from, in kerala? How was ur vishu?

I am also a Keralite from Trivandrum. Spent a major part of my life in Dubai. But heart always back in Kerala. Missing my place a lot.......... Longing to go back and settle down there. Always feeling that i am not smart enough to live in his part of the world..................

My roots in Kerala is in Mavelikara, Allapuza District. But born and brought up in Chennai, but with strong maloo roots including speaking pure Malayalam.

Welcome to Indus Ladies . You can have lots of malayalees here who can be friends with you. My father is from Kottiyam, kollam and mother from Alathur, Palakkad.
Vishu was very nice with usual Kani, sadya etc. But I had office that day since it was not a holiday in Chennai.
