| | Re: treadmill
DEAR RR,
where treadmill is concerned it is connected with ur weight the more weight u have u will need the motorised one, as the manual is only for light to middle weight people, as the above 100kgs will huff and puff more rather than walk on it, they are around 12k or so according to brands, whereas the motorised ones are around 50k or so, and they are for heavy people, also helps older crowd to walk as they have to keep their legs mobilised more, so in the long run if u c it is better to invest in a motorised one, pl do consult a good physiotherapist before u invest on any of these, but from personal experience i feel motorised is better than the manual...regards sunkan

Hi sarachandra,
I go to gym everyday according to what I know Using treadmill alone won't help you much. In order to loose weight you have to build muscle that you can do with Weight training and also you have to make many changes to
Your food intake (cut down the carbohydrates) then you might see quicker results..also need to combine with exercise jogging, walking, cycling..etc…

You can start with treadmill and then buy dumbells and add as you go. good investment though.

Hello
I have tried both. I like both too. I do tend to use the elliptical more often because its easier on my knees. I am obese and my knees hurt a lot. So thats a little easier. Hope i helped.

Hi,
I agree with Sunkan. Please go for a motorized one. Manual ones are difficult to use on a long run.
Thanks!!

I have a treadmill and we did a lot of researches before buying that.Go for chp motors than hp motors. If you want to use continuously for walking and jogging spend atleast more than 500 dollar on that.
