Smile Reduce tummy after pregnancy

Dear Friends
I'm new to this board.
It looks great and nice to meet u all through this board.
I was pregnant and had a c-section.
I had a big tummy after that and it was reduced to some extent by itself.
Now i have some big tummy left and i 'm eating okay to breastfeed.
Without affecting the breastfeed, is there any exercise or any diet to reduce my tummy soon. I want to get back my small tummy and small hips ....
Also my tummy looks like a torn sack with black stretch marks and skin is wrinkled very much. I want to get my normal skin back too.
Any ideas friends, pl. suggest...
I'm waiting to reduce it and be back with my routine shape and do my works...

Hi,
First of all Welcome to the forum......
And regarding your tummy, it is a common problem and nothing much can be done in this regard
Excercise will help you to a great extent........
I too had that problem in the begining, but now my tummy has reduced to a great extent....
Regarding the stretch marks and scars, you will have to consult a dermitologist for best results......Don't go for any sort of dieting now, coz it may effect your breast feeding.....
Did you not use any stretch nill cream during your pregnancy?

Hi to all

iam also new ELite, me also suffering from the same problem after C section,

1.kapaalabhaathi(praanaayaamam) exercise in Yoga will help you to strengthen the stomach muscles, daily u have to do 15minutes minimum,

2. sit-ups-nearly starting with 20 situps (for upper abdomen)

3. leg raises (for lower abdomen)

these r the 3 exercises that will definetely reduce the tummy but not instantly,
i came to know these recently, i started doing for 1 week,

and one more ELite asked, with breast feeding also u can do these,after delivery if u start soon (in 6th month) can reduce the tummy easily.

hi ladies,

I agree with you.yoga keeps one physically and mentally healthy.

Especially tummy reduces to a great extent.

Keeping relaxed mind will help you to be fit.

Pranayammam helps a great extent for that, but it will take time but very effective.

Even i am facing with this tummy problem now my baby is 5th month can i start these exercises now .please tell me.How to do the Pranayammam in yoga ? can i reduce my tummy .

u can start Yoga after 6 months only

really kapalabhati(pranayamam) will help u a lot to reduce tummy but u have to do it regularly,

kapalabhati -- exhale out the air forcefully through nose and putting the stomach-in completely, have to do continuously for about 3 minutes starting

Thanks for your suggestion.

Will you please explain me, how to do Kapalbhati ? No body is explaining it to me elabaorately. Please explain. I have heard that in empty stomach only, we have to do kapalbhati. After Kapalbhati, when shall i eat ?

I had C-section. Shall I do kapalbhati ?

What kind of situps ? Please explain how to do it ? And how many times i should do ?

how r u doing?

kapaalabhati in empty stomach means if u take breakfast or lunch, after 3 hours only u can do. so when u want to do kapalabhati, morning with empty stomach orif u take breakfast at 8 am , u can do it around 11 am.

after kapalabhati u can eat at any time, no restrictions.

C section also, after 6 months , u can do , no problem

all the above are told by Yoga sir, I learnt Yoga 1 month

u asked one more thing how to do kapalabhati,, its very simple but we want practice

sit in the yoga position , you breatheout the air forcefully through the nose and bringing the sromch completely inside by inhaling the air as enough inside as u can do, this will take fraction of seconds, continuously breathout air, breathein and bringing stomach in, just try it once

one more important thing , if u do it wrong , its dangerous
