Wink Re: help me...

Dear leesa,

my dad has beensuffering from diabitis for the past 26yrsand has in under control he is 74yrs old, hestopped smoking, drinking he wakes upat 5am daily at 5.30am he leaves for the club he walks for anhour and 30 mins then he swims.

he comes home has his breakfast which is as follows:-
2 oatbix or weetabix with yogurt or skimmed milkand tea without sugar
lunch at 11am he willhave salad without or littlesalt as he suffers from high blood pressure
then he will 3 rotis and subzi no rice rice3 has a lot sugar and is high in carbohydrate.
dinner he will have homsoup like cabbage soup or carrot soup and something that we have made for dinner but very little.
we have to keep an eye on his diet we have to makesure that he does not over eat.

exercising is very important and in the evening he goes for an hour walk aswell. he does not eat greenwater melon, mangoes, chiku or any fruits which are high in sugar

i suggest visit a diabetic specialist and they will help you. Diabetis is a silent killer so you have to careful in your sugar intake.
first step is have thesugar tested then go to a diabetic specialist.

try to follow this and hope it willhelp you.

good luck
love
alpa
