For all others --- help Me ---I have temporarily postponed my efforts until Sep 18. I'm preparing for a certification and spend every wake moment with my books

Though I donot snack / over eat , I am not able to spend time exercising

Any tips for me until I pass the Sep 18 Hurdle?
Hi kashvya,

dont worry. take hot water through out the day. take less oil food and take more veg and fruits as much as you can and also take honey and hot water in empty stomach this may help you to reduce weight. after 18th sep. try to do some exercises.

all the best for you.

Wink Re: Fat to Fit Journey

Dear Kashvya,

Congrats on your journey. I am a fitness feak, and have been controlling my weight for the past 10yrs, i have put on weight but 3 klilos in these 10yrs. i saw in your diet plan that you have dinner at 9.30pm, try to have it early, at 6.30 try to have fruits like apple, red water melon or papaya, do not mix your fruit, have only two types of fruits a day.
I love food,my favourite is french fries and i canhave upto two full plates of it. Start drinking hot water, for breakfast include fruits, for dinner have soups, you can create your own soups, use olive oil in cooking your soups and other food.

When youare warming up, warm up fpr 15 mins do aerobics, you will lose weight faster in aerobics.
Nothing isimpossible, my dear you can do it. Start with small things and gradually to big things then you will see how easy it is.

BTW i am 55 kgs 5"4", i used to weigh 52kg

good luckand keep us posted how you are doing

Sending you lots of love

Hope your preparation is going on well. About my progress, well my diet is going good with support of all your friends and started yoga too recently. I brought a new weighing machine and checked my weight. It showed 145 pounds, which means i lost 15 pounds in a week. But it is unbelievable. But i am sure that there wil be a weight loss of atleast 2 pouds bcz of my diet and exercise. Today i am going to buy another weighing machine . Let me check it again.

All the best for your certification and diet.

Hi Kashvya, im in the same boat as you, im married 5'2" but i weight slightly heaver of 85kg. I actually had a thyroid problem in the past which caused weight gain, but i dont think it was the main cause.
I have been trying to lose weight and its been difficult and i am still trying to lose it, but i read your posts and determined me a lot.
I also started my exercise today, only managed to do half an hour walking, yet i plan to do an hour more late on in the day (hopefully)
I dont mind joining you it would be good fun and it helps when you have some one in the same position, just makes life easier and motivates you.

Hi Kashvya,

You can have healthy snacks too, like yoghurt with fruit, bake the samosas instead of frying them, et cetera. I know it is difficult but focus on your goals. In my opinion you must not postpone your goal even if you are studying now. ( I apologise for sounding harsh).

Also please try to exercise half an hour per day (like walking), it is good for body and mind. Especially now since you are studying.

Good luck with your studies.

PS don't tempt yourself, see to it that there are no snacks in the house you like
I love chocolate but I don't buy it because I know I will eat it all!!!

Dear Kashvaya,

Iagree with Chandramukhi. You can eat fruits if you feel like snacking and exercise is good at this time, it will relax you and also mentally you will be able exercise your mind.

Good luck in your exams.
takecare

hi kashvya

do onething..

just cut some fruits and veggies keep it on the table... when ever u feel hungry keep munching that... since its already and ready on the table u will eat that... one thing is its already to eat.. another since its already we wont waste so atleast for that we will finish that...

i used to follow that very strictly when i was dieting... so that we dont end up eating unhealthy snacks... also avoid buying snacks...
