THere is always another day..So just start fresh and sure we will be hearing yet another weight lost story soon.Don't give up.No prob you missed the morning routine, just continnue with the day long routine.

Even i need to lose 20 kgs. From today i am going to start my diet with support of our friends. Regarding the tricker,

Lets do it. I dont think the Ticker factory bbcode advice worked

I only see the hyperlink. Does this have something to do with the fact that I'ma New Memeber still and that I havent completed 50 posts?

Hi kashvya,

The ticker has nothing do with 50 posts completion. You go to tickerfactory.com and fill the details in the weight loss ticker you select and copy/paste the BBC code in your edit options in IL to your signature.
Try once again and see.Dont forget to tick your signature before you post. If you paste the bbc code but disable the signature option then you cannot see the signature ticker.

Hi Kashvya,

I am new to Indus ladies and i was very much impressed with your confidence.
Don't loose the confidence so soon. As for the saying failures are stepping stones for success.
I have the same weight problem. I was 57 and 5'' 2' when i married 4 years ago and in with in this 4 years i went upto 77. that is almost 20 kg increase. i faced a lot of criticism fro everybody.I don't have children.

I tried lots of diets and and even i got the food from Nutrisystem which i was not able to eat. I struggled for 2 .5 years.Many times my planning went down the drain.I was not able to go anywhere.I slowly started to stay home and not go any where.

I determined to loose weight atleast for my husband who supported me always in everything.No diet wrks magic.

i prepared myself a diet chart or i sholdnot say it is a diet chart as the word "diet" makes you feel hungry. I prepared a health chart and promised to follow it.
I stated writing down every night what i eat and it made a huge difference as i now know what i am eating.

my Health chart:

Early Morning(5:30 - 6:00 am): Dring luke warm water atleast 1 litre.(it is hard but you will be used to it very soon)

Morning(7:00 am)-- water with honey and lime.
(7:20 am)-- Vegetable or fruit juice with no sugar

Examples: Carrot+cucumber+tomato+water (peel and grind and strain)
Carrot+cucumber
Fresh orange juice
Breakfat (8:10 am): Oats,w/w bread with peanut butter or jam or hardboiled egg,2 idli,1 dosa etc..

Mid Morning : any fruit
(11:15 am)-- 2 glass Water

Lunch: 1 cup rice with curry(1 tbsp oil),3 pulkha,2 roti
if you like burger go for a veggie burger with no fries.
or a slice of pizza

Mid-evening: hand full of any nuts(peanuts,5 almonds,casewuts etc....)

Dinner: boiled vegetables or leafy vegetables with phulka or chappati and hand full of sprouts
1 cup skimmed milk befor going to sleep.



Exercise: 1/2 hour walking with stretches and abdominal exercises.
1/2 hour jogging with strength traing and abdominal exercises.
1/2 hour eliptical cycle or aerobics.

Do exercise atleast 4-5 days a week.

i have been following this routine for the last 4 months i am down from 85kg - 72kg i.e.(13 kgs).

I am a very busy working woman. I start 7:30 at home and reach at 7:00 pm .
i used to think i don't have time for anything but now i find time for myself.
i wake up at 5:00 am in the morning an drink water and prapare breakfast and lunch and pack everything and run.
i come home 7:00pm and exercise and prapare dinner and finish eating by 8:30 pm and go for a short 10 -15 minute walk.

Nothing is impossible.You can do it once you have the determination in you. i know it is a long story but hope it will help you.

What an inspiring story!
Losing 13kgs in 4months indeed requires patience and continuity.You rightly said the term 'diet' itself makes us feel hungry.Good idea to name it something else.
Many of us here are dieting and have a seperate thread where we input our daily charts.We shall take the pointers from you.
