I have been trying to lose weight on and off but never stayed on track. Now I think is the time for a positive change. This time I want to be consistent in my efforts to become fitter and better, with weight loss being the secondary goal. I am hoping creating this new thread and posting my updates daily will give me a sense of accountability and motivate me to exercise and eat healthy regularly.

Starting tomorrow, let’s have our own set of challenges for 2 weeks and post our updates, progress and difficulties we face here. You can also post your current weight/lost weight here if it motivates you, that’s not mandatory though.

Friends, who want to lead a healthy lifestyle and lose weight can join here and let’s motivate and guide each other.

Priya, how are you doing with the challenges. I haven't exercised yet. Planning to do it later.

Had a wafer now. That's included in junk right:-(. Also yet to think about dinner. I am already feeling hungry, wondering how I will manage with just soup.

Don't feel bad about having that wafer CB, the good thing is that you stopped with just one. ( I too had a piece of cake, shared it with dh so just a piece :hide:)

I too don't feel satiated with just soup for dinner so I have a slice of dry toast with it or add some sprouts to the soup. You can have some thick kanji/ porridge instead of soup too.

Day 1 of my challenge : did some crunches in the morning, 1.5 ltr of water. Hope to reach my target

Thanks for the idea Priya, I too will try to have a slice of bread or mix some millet flour in soups. I am thinking to try oats soup today. Saw the recipe online. Priya & Rajni, any idea how it would taste?

Oats soup must taste good CB. I make spicy oats porridge with black pepper powder and jeera powder and a pinch of salt. Try the soup and share the recipe with us.
