Default Re: Tummy after C-section

Hi Jes,

Yes it's possible. My son was born by c-section 3 years back and I did manage to tuck in a lot. I'm not a disciplined person when it comes to exercises so I can say that if I had tried a bit more my tummy would have been flat. You say that your girl is 16 months so it's better you join some exercise class soon. The more you delay the less the muscles will cooperate. After normal or c-section the most important thing is to bring back the muscles in position... that's what creates a bloated stomach. If you press your fingers over the navel you can feel the gap. Apart from losing the pregnancy weight you must concentrate on strengthening your back, thighs, stomach and tummy.
