New fat burning challenge Oct 8th - Nov 6th 2014

    I came across one beautiful article and my work collegue have tried this for a month and lost some weight as per the conclusion is her fat level became drastically low compare to her fat level before this challenge so since i trusted her version and would like to have group motivation i want others to join this challenge
    For first 10 days you will strictly eat only the listed items in any form like salads,soup,stir fry,aviyal ,poriyal ,kulambhu etc etc but no rice or wheat or anything .

    The 10 days has to be done religiously if you are unable to follow please do not start as the body is in detox mode and if unable to complete the cycle your body will reverse react to it .I need dedicated people only to join this challenge if they can commit to this . Please register your interest and be strict with what you put into your mouth . Will see the number of participants who like to reduce their body fat level. I will share my recipes and please post some yummy vegan recipes so others can be benefited thru this.This is a well proven life style change only for short amount of time this got three phase each phase as 10 days then i will tell about the maintainance lifestyle changes not much as she still eats pizza ,cakes and not put even 100 gms as she learnt how to flush toxin from her body.


    Come ladies its not difficult only difficult part is not eating rice but you can still eat poriyal,sabzi and other yummy veggies during the 10 days duration.

    Starting yummy recipies

    Ingredients
    Carrot - 3-4
    Onion - 1/2 (finely chopped/ grated)
    Green Chillies - 1
    Grated Coconut - 2 tblsp
    Curry leaves - 1 string
    Oil - 2 tsp
    Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Dry red Chillies - 2
    Urad dhal - 1 tsp
    Salt - as needed

    Method
    1. Peel the skin of the carrots and grate it using a hand grater. You could also chop it using a chopper, shred it using a food processor or chop it into small dices with hand.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
    3. Add chopped onion, green chillies and fry for a minute.
    4. Add the grated carrot and required salt. You could add 2-3 tblsp of some other vegetable along with carrot like broccoli, cabbage, beans, brussels sprouts, parsnip, turnip etc.
    5. Cover and let it cook till the carrot is soft but not mushy. Sprinkle few drops of water if needed.
    6. Add coconut gratings and mix again and remove from stove.



    **** as a variation you can avoid coconut gratings but other spices should be fine .

    Hi BBD,
    Lovely thread and nice challenge!
    I would have been the first one to join you for Iam also very much bothered about fat loss..but I fear if I can stay so much away from non veg :( ....once I feel I can, I will join..
    is it only for 10 days or the whole month you don't eat non veg? Iam not a rice or wheat fan... So Iam ok with that

    Welcome Joel me too I can never stay too long without non veg ... :p ... in saying this is only phase 1 purely veggies and good proteins but phase 2 is red meat (lamb beef etc etc along with good amount of veggies and proteins ) .. Phase 3 is white meat introduction along with others and before you begin try taking blood test .. :)

    Hi BBD,
    You are kind of scaring me by saying a blood test :( Iam not in any medical condition currently. Do you hint on checking cholesterol and sugar levels by this test?
    what if I don't do this? Iam actually scared of all these :( I know it's a shame to speak like that after having 2 kids!
