Aiming for a 'New Me' - 3 months challenge

    Hi Friends,

    Am a mom of two in my mid thirties. Weight loss had not been this difficult in my life but this time, it is. Not sure if its because of inconsistency or age or emotional eating or all put together! Want to take a more serious approach this time and starting this thread.

    Mission - targeting 15-20 lbs weight reduction with no saggy muscles wheresoever
    Start date - 28th July 2014
    End date - 28th October 2014
    Weighing dates - 28th July, 29th August, 29th September,29th October
    How to achieve: With healthy eating and workout

    Healthy eating:
    Adequate water intake, more fruits and veggies in the diet, NO white rice, sweets, fried items. Milk and fruits for dinner

    Workout:
    Aiming at 40-60 min workout a day/5 days per week

    I would do a daily update here. Need motivation to succeed this time. Please feel free to join me in this mission.

    HELLO CHAPRA

    today i logged in indus ladies to start my weight loss journey .to my surprise i saw ur post vth same idea like 3 months target,diet model n exercise also same.
    only diff might be in weight.

    i will also join vth u in this weight loss journey.i wil update today's diet tomorrow.

    lets motivate each other.

    my plan:

    1 hour exercise.
    mild dinner.
    no junk food n rice
    water 3 litres
    include vegetable juice n soup in diet
    n keep moving?no idle sitting :)
    target till oct 29

    lets start!!!

    my update jul 28th:

    wheat dosa n sambhar
    banana blueberry milk shake
    ice cream( i know i should avoid :()
    wheat dosa with sambhar +3 spoon rice vth sambhar

    exercise:nil
    water: 700 ml

    i didnt follow much of the rules yesterday becoz of headache :(
