HI Ammvin:

In Thippasandra, check Events/Yoga Classes for yoga classes. Swami Ramdev's yoga CDs are available in Yediyur (Jayanagar) area - they might be available elsewhere also now. Check out .:: Why Yoga with Swami Ramdev Ji ::. for more details on them.

It is always better to learn yoga / pranayama through a class / teacher and then it is safe to practise on your own.

Hope this helps.

Dear ammvin,

Let me introduce myself. This is Shankari from Bangalore. I have been doing yoga for the past six years.

Before doing yoga, i had a severe sinus problem.i.e.,i ll sneeze everyday..
I felt very difficult in breathing and hence my learning in college was very difficult.

After i did the yoga class, i got good improvement in my health. After two months, my sneezing was very rare and then i started to concentrate well in my studies.

I take this as an opportunity to intoduce the Isha Yoga's Inner Engineering program happening in Bangalore during November month.

Please find attached the E-flyer for the same.

Also,Please go through the below links for information on the program.

Thanks,
Sankari

Dear ammvin,

Also, i personally feel that doing yoga with books are not advisable.

Yoga removes all our bodily disorders by tackling with the root of the problem.. Hence it is better that we always learn such practices with the guidance of a master.

Books are of course, inexpensive.but, if there are any problem that arises due to wrong practices(since no one to guide. everybody can make mistakes) is very dangerous.

Hence, Please invest money in learning yoga. Now a days, we spend thousands of money for the hospitals and fitness programs.

If we are ready to spend some money as an investment, we benefit a lot from yoga classes trained by teachers. In Isha Yoga, yoga classes are taught by personnals trained for more than five years in teaching yoga.

hence, please think thousand times before you take any step with the help of books.

Learning yoga with books is like stepping into a river without knowing its depth and flow of water.

Please take care.

Dear ammvin,
What sankari says is very much true. Worth learning Yoga through trained people. Don't think twice but please think thousand times before learning through books.

Dear ISHA,(SANKARIi)
Even I have gone for this IE programme. Very much benefited. Are you attending Sathsang sankari?
