I read her books about 8-10 months ago but I was not able to follow it as my baby used to wake up very very often in the night for feeding and I was terribly sleep deprived- I just could not think of giving up my morning chai for instant energy.

I re-read her book again-"Don't lose your mind, lose your weight" and I feel I can do it. My boy sleeps through the night on most days now.
It's not as difficult as it seems.
Also planning cardio(walking) on treadmill for 30 mts daily.
    Is anyone else joining me?

    Just 4 basic plans.
    1. Never wake up to tea or coffee-Eat some real food within 10-15 minutes of waking up.
2.Eat every 2-3 hours- small and frequent meals.
3.Eat more when you are active & less when you are less active
    4. Eat your last meal 2 hours before bedtime.

I started following the 1st rule after reading her book..I'm still not very regular with this but I try to eat my breakfast first and then have tea...

    I eat every 2 hours...and have dinner 3 hours before I sleep....

the 3rd part...I try but the thing is when you're out on vacation...you don't workout and u also eat more....so that's the hard part... i eat less on my regular days when I'm working out! lol

    hello ladies,

Shruthi Pls add me in too. Even I read the book, but cud not bring myself to start the diet. I guess her diet plan is all about eating every thing in moderation at regular intervals of 2 hours through out the day. Hopefully will start it from tomorrow.

    Regards

    Jyotsna

You are welcome, ladies!!!! The more the merrier!
We may all face challenges to eating right but let's not deter from it- let's not remorse if we mess up a particular meal and start afresh from the next!
The challenges I face are eating within 10 mts of waking up. I live in a joint family(with inlaws)so if my children wake up before me, I'll have yo put their needs before like making them brush their teeth, make them drink their milk etc- only then can I even brush my teeth. Thanks to my son, my sleeping hrs are now (2am to 8 am). It's not his fault. I can't get sleep until 2 am even though he hits bed by 10:30 pm or so. He woke up at 7 am today so I had to literally pinch open my eyes and wake up with him. My inlaws are very understanding on this and mil prepares breakfast before I wake up. But yesterday I could eat breakfast only after 40 mts of waking up.

Shruthi if u can't eat breakfast that early, best is to eat a fruit.. She suggests eating a fruit as first thing in the morning ,you can eat banana etc
