    This space is for my self..My weight loss journey. This time I want to take it slowly.

    Hope I will succeed.

    Start Date: Jan 10th 2013.

    JAN 10th 2013:

    Breakfast :
    2 pulka + 1 bowl cauliflower curry

    Lunch:
    3 bowls rice + 1 bowl daal + 1 bowl cauliflower curry + 1 tbl spoon curd {MY NOTES....1 1/2 bowls rice is excess...}

    Mid Evening : 1 tall mocha with extra whipped cream. {MY NOTES.....Wipped cream is excess...}

    Water: 1/2 ltr

    Will drink 1/2 ltr water more. Dinner will try to keep it simple.

    Total water : 1 lts

    1st SATURDAY : 186 POUNDS | Water: 1 1/2 ltr)

    JANUARY 12th 2013:

    FOOD INTAKE:
    7am - 1 cup tea
    10 am - 2 slices begal, 1 tea spoon butter, 1 small glass orange juice
    1.30 pm - veg biriyani (2 bowls), prawns curry (1 small bowl)
    3.30 pm- cheating with additional rice ( 1 bowl rice and prawns)
    8.30 pm - rice (2 bowls), prawns (1 small bowl), beans curry(1 small bowl), daal (1 small bowl)

    Here is what I am starting with for week 1..

    1. Will weigh in every Saturday morning.
    2. This first week concentration will be on water. I will be trying to drink atleast 2 to three ltrs water every day. This will be my goal for this week.

    "Healthy habits will keep weight off for ever". As I learn this, I have decided to concentrate on my habits week by week to become fit for a life time.

    This time I don't want to rush on my weight loss. Rather concentrate on my habits.

    PLAN TO PROCEED:

    1. WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day (WEEK 1 CONCENTRATION)
    2. REDUCED PORTION SIZES (WEEK 2 CONCENTRATION)
    3. AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD (WEEK 3 CONCENTRATION) (ALLOWED ONCE IN A WEEK)
    4. EAT DINNER BEFORE 7.30 PM (WEEK 4 CONCENTRATION)
    5. NO RICE FOR DINNER (WEEK 5 CONCENTRATION)
    4. ADD FRUIT IN DIET (WEEK 6 CONCENTRATION)
    4. ADD MILK IN DIET (WEEK 7 CONCENTRATION)
    5. OILY FOODS ONLY ONCE OR TWICE IN A WEEK (WEEK 8 CONCENTRATION)
    6. WORK OUT - MIN 3 times( 30 mins - 1 hr) per week (Pranayama, yoga, suryanamaskaram, walking, gym etc).

    Will add more as I think.

    As I proceed. each WEEK practice will be included in upcoming weeks. Example,

    WEEK 1: WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day

    WEEK 2: WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES

    WEEK 3: WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES + AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD

    WEEK 4: WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES + AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD + WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES + AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD

    WEEK 5: WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES + AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD + WATER INTAKE - 3 lts/ day + REDUCED PORTION SIZES + AVOID OUT SIDE FOOD + NO RICE FOR DINNER
