 A right approach in working out can give you better results in keeping fit and healthy. It is common to feel frustrated and embarrassed when the plan is not giving you the right results. Here are some of the common fitness mistakes that women make.

Less Confidence : Women do not realize their own capacity or capability of doing intense workouts and often stick the old regime. This leads to weight plateau when the weight scale refuses to budge. In order to maximize the benefits of a workout, keep in mind to try various types of workouts.
So, how often should you change the workout routine? Fitness experts believe that you should modify your exercise program every three to four weeks. Four weeks is also a good time to see if your previous working is bearing any benefits at all.

Consider adding muscle building exercise since muscles will lead to more burning of calories. Changing a workout routine will also get you out of the boredom of doing the same set of exercises every day. Challenge yourself to add some more minutes to your exercise-training program to get a better workout.

Over Workout: Spending lot of time in the gym may not necessarily help you lose that weight. Quality and smart workouts matter. Without a proper plan spending a lot of time can only make you demotivated and cause quick burnout. Sit with someone who has better knowledge with workouts and draw a sensible plan that works for all parts of your body. You should also consider your body type while you draw up the plan. Workouts need not be only in a gym, it can be done with a host of other exercises by walking, biking, squats, jumps, skip rope and other fitness exercises. Consider the ones that you enjoy the most so that you can sneak in more time doing such exercises.

Setting Unrealistic Goals: In the initial excitement of keeping fit, women tend to draw grandiose plans of achieving the fitness goals within few weeks. Body metabolism does take some time before you can notice the results of all the efforts. It is important to be realistic when you draw up a plan. This depends on how many days per week you can devote, your body type, techniques that you will use to achieve your goals. Getting fit and healthy is not an overnight magic and requires patience, dedication and time before you can enjoy the benefits.

Yeah, for reducing weight, we should have lot of patience. For months and months together, the scale will show the same weight. But we should not loose heart. Atleast, we should be happy that the weight is maintained and stick to our diet and exercise and suddenly one fine morning, the weight will reduce. Thank you for pointing out the mistakes. Regards
