Need suggestion to reduce tummy.

    Hi,

    I am a normal weight. my BMI is normal. But i have large tummy:spin.
    it want to reduce it. I want to reduce atleast 1" within two month.
    i have carving of snacks. Now i try to reduce intaking of snacks and eat lot of fruits.
    I decided to do some tummy exercise for this.
    i read through this tread and find lot of exercise.
    I dont know what exercise to do? in what order?
    So please motivate me reduce my tummy.:help

    going thro the same .....planning to do some exercises for stomach or join yoga..confused.

    Hello,
    I have a big tummy in last one year, but I can share what has worked for me in past. I am again in the tummy reducing phase.
    Definitely cut calories
    Dont eat too much of fruits or snacks
    Go easy on carbs- white rice, sugar, snacks
    You can eat whole wheat roti. If you like white rice, you can continue that reduce the portion size a little.
    Drink warm water all through day
    Get up and move/ walk.
    Now the important thing- try to keep your stomach muscles tight, all day
    This will be tough at first, but when ever you remember- get the muscles tight
    Another exercise, lie on your back on floor/ mat and do cycling
    Make sure you have enough fiber in your diet

    kapalbhati pranayam helps a lot.. but you have to learn the correct way of doing it. you tube can help to learn..do at least 100 inhale & exhale in morning, afternoon before lunch, & in evening around 7 o'clock. be regular..you can reduce 4-5 kgs & 3 inch around ur trunk area..it worked on me like heaven..but strong determination required.
    Of course, add more fibre..cut calories.. all the best!!!!

    Hello Ladies,

    any suggestion to reduce the tummy after c- section... it has been 6 yrs years after the c- section... however the tummy refuses to come back to it's original size and i stilllllllllllllllllllllllllllll get asked"Are you pregyy?":bang

    Desperate....

    As our friend Lata said, it is true.
    Pranayam and kapabhati is really a good source for tummy reduction.
    For body trimming, try to do sun salutation in the morning and evening before food.
    By doing the above will give u tremendous results in a couple of months...

    1.You should try eating more of fruits and proteins and less of carbs(rice).
    2.Workout and try doing yoga every alternate day.
    3.Eat meals at the same time everyday preferably atleast 3 hrs before you go to bed.The body gets used to routine habits after sometime.
    4.Try eating more of fruits with Vitamin C its the fat fighting vitamin.
    5.Dont startve yourself,coz its leds the body to believe that it wont be nourished hence starts storing fats to fight hunger.
    6.Drink as much water as possible,it flushes out the toxins and really helps maintaining a good and clean digestive tract.

    All this has helped me lose almost 10 Lbs over a period of 45 to 60 days.Hope this helps others as well.But follow all this with delligence.
