I did the toning routine from Claudia sheiffer`s workout video.
After the warm up,
Ab crunches with pulse-10 plus 10 reps/3 sets
Obliques-20 reps/2 sets both sides
Rectus abdominus with pulse- 10 plus 10 reps/3 sets
Obliques plus crunches[both sides]-6 reps.
Used both 1 kg and 8 pound dumbbells for these:
Overhead press and front raises-15 reps/3 sets
Lateral raises and upright rows-15 reps/3 sets
Bicep curls plus triceps-10 reps/3 sets
bent over laterals-30 reps
Followed up each of these with 10 partial pushups.total 40.

Hi everybody
Got back this morning but couldn`t go for a walk.
Now i did a few stretches and a light conditioning workout.
Plies,lunges,Ab crunches
Then exercises to firm up butts and hamstrings
Using 8 pound dumbells did 15 reps each of
Biceps,triceps,arm raises,shoulders,front raisers,upright rows,lateral raises.
Finished this with neck exercises.

I walked for a good 45 minutes this morning.Really sweated it out with my moderate-brisk pace.

Finished my toning workout now.
After the warm up,did Ab crunches with pulses,Obliques,For rectus abdominus,pelvic tilts etc for about 10 minutes.
Average 10 reps/3 sets each.
1 KG DUMBELLS:
Overhead presses & front raisers
Lateral raises & upright rows
Biceps & triceps
Flies and shoulder raises
Bent over lateral raises
Partial pushups-40 reps.

i hv been absent from this forum for a long time, now for the past three days i have been doing arctrainer 20 mins burning 300 cals each time, and strength training workouts also... hope to keep at it and not drop off the wagon.

Nice to see your routines. Sorry I was not able to post for last few days. I missed my exercise and diet routine last week. trying to get on track from today. I was trailing the blouse which was stiched during my wedding, and learnt how much I need to shed:) if you have any clothes that you wore while you were thin will help us measure where we stand

hallo friends!
like many of us here, i too have slackened.. found a freelance work arrangement that is keeping me busy. plus DD's exams.tuition driving duty...etc.. still, i am trying to do some justice to the work out, a few times a week of cycling and abking pro.
geevee: if youdo the abkingpro ona sustained daily routine, it helps to tighten the abdominal muscles...and burn abd fat..

Viveka,Thanks for the input for the abs.
I was away from home regarding my work in a nice village near Pune called Baramati-Phalton last 10 days.
I used to walk about 2.4 kms at a good pace in the mornings and do some weights using 2 kg dumbells in the mini gym there.
Totally neglected my abs so i can feel an increase there.
Got slight temparature now since it was cold weather there.so let me wait for a couple of days & then get back.
Its raining in Chennai too now.

Hi friends,
Iam afraid i will not be able to post in this forum for the next 7 to 10 days since iam suffering from a Viral infection.My doctor has advised me not to exercise till i complete my medicine-course.
