i m charushree,23

i m a doctor & preparing 4 PG entrance

i m really desperate to join d grp.
present wt-95 kgs
target wt-60 kgs
need to loose-35 kgs

i hve decided 2 eat high protein & low calorie

early morning- 1 hr walk(5 km)

after that lauki juice - half glass

breakfast 9 am -1 cup tea(1 tsp sugar)
2 marie biscuits(high fibre)

lunch 12.30 pm-2 chapatis & as much as dal & vegetable u want(cooked in less oil)

4 pm-1 cup tea
2 marie biscuits

dinner 8 pm-soups without cream or 1 cup oatmeal or sprouts

in between if snacks are needed-try air popped popcorn,salad,soup,steamed snacks.

drink at least 10 to 15 glass of water every day,lukewarm if possible

avoid fried food,refined sugar & junk food

if ur a non-vegetarian can hve egg white,chicken(without skin) & fish


aims at loosing half to 1 kg per week & trust me its possible & safe too.


but my biggest hurdles are lack of will power and consistency.i even eat more when i m stressed b'coz of studies.

would really appreciate a diet buddy.

Hello

I wanna lose some weight too.. I need to lose around 10 kgs to start with.

My diet plan is to eat a balanced diet, watch my calorie intake and increase physical activity

Breakfast - eat as soon as you wake up maximum within one hour. I cannot do that because I need to take my thyroid tablet and wait for one hour.
typical BF - egg whites with any carb ( dosa or bread )

Snack after 2 -3 hours
Typically any fruit or crackers

Lunch after 2 -3 hrs
Very less carbs (rice or chapathi) , protein - tofu or soy or eggs , with any vegetable curry with or without dal, less salt

Snack after 2 - 3 hrs
anything with less fast preferably but between 100 - 200 calories.

Dinner
usually a subway sandwich with wheat bread..

Exercise - One hour in the evening after having a snack.

I was told that you should not exercise with empty stomach.

My biggest problems are I am a rice lover and fried food lover.. So, I cannot keep myself away from these for long.. I think its ok to indulge in these once in a while..
I also have problems in keeping myself motivated to do physical activity. Lets see how it goes this time.

I am delighted to have found this thread!! I would like to join you all from this moment itself...

I am Rakhi and I am 28 years old and my height is 5' 2''. I am at the ideal weight range as of now (118-132). But the problem is that my arms and my legs are perfect looking while my tummy is where i need to focus. I am unable to wear all the sexy cloths I used to wear as a teenager and I miss them so much.

Now I do know that I need to join gym to concentrate on specific body weight reductions, but I am wondering if anyone can help me with my current diet which can help reduce my tummy size.

5:00 AM- Yogurt
7:30- Medium coffee with 1 milk and 1 sugar
8:00-Banana
10:00-cereal bar/apple
12:00-Lunch (usually little rice with subzi/sambar)
2:30- Green tea with some fruit or other
6:00-Dinner, same as lunch (usually little rice with subzi/sambar)
7:00- a glass of wine while cooking for next days lunch

I am fairly disciplined while sticking to my diet but on weekends my diet goes for a toss. Oh yes...on weekdays, sometimes I indulge in Starbucks yummy muffins and Chinese food but not often.

Is there anything I can do (apart from going to the gym) to slowly reduce my tummy size and get back into those cloths I long for? Thanks all!!!!!

i have to reduce 30kg.
suggest me some diet plan which does not have wheat product b,cas it doesnt suit me.and i cant walk for long time b'cs of otsoarthrities.and i definietly need ur motivation b'cas often i start and drop out.

i think the key is cutting out fat,refined sugar and adding high fibre.

walk at least for 60 mins and skipp rope as much as you can.


most important is patience.i m also lacking in it.

Hi Rakhi,
you need to substitute banana with orange or apple.You should stop intake of cheese and muffins.If it is unavoidable u can take them once in a while.Instead of these fat foods u can take raw/boiled sprouts with carrot or cucumber whenever u r hungry.I think because of these fat food u r not able to reduce ur weight even after going to the gym.Eating sprouts instead of snacks reduces ur weight,keeps u fit and healthy and also improves ur skin glow.Add more fruits to ur diet.These tips will help u .

Wow ,good your so motivated ,I do have some few tips ,I has consulted a renowned dietician ,she too awesome ,
so will give her diet chart also ,it may help lot of us


Drink 1litre of water in the morning
Breakfast : Have 2 idlis,or 2 loafs of whet bread and skimmed milk 250ml ,this is a must u need 2 have milk.
Avoid rice,rava,avalakii,pasta,noodles,carrots ,and beetroots

Drink totally 3 lts of water in a day and exercise for 1 hr and diet

lucnh
2 to 3 phulka chapathi ,1 cup (Use a measuring cup available in stores ) dhal or any sprouts sabji,half a cup curd,half a cup vegetables and cucumber and tomotoes (MUST eat cucumber and tomotoe )

Evening:250 ml skimmed milk ,u can coffe or tea and 2 loafs of wheat bread

drink water
11 have one apple or pineapple .

dinner
have 2 phulka chapathis and 1 cup sabji and salad again

Then do write what u eat in a paper like mon to sunday ,do this sincerely ,every week u will lose atalest 500 gms.

drink water ,diet and exercise ,its just too good a diet .
Doing all this together will mek it work,do let me know please try sincerely for 2 weeks u will know the result ,u will surely let me know

love u all dat u startd dis thread i really need it................... i too want to shed weight bf 24 jan coz my son 1st bday n want to look d same as i was bf pregnancy..........iam a breastfeeding mom. iam teacher but on leave for 5 mre mnths...........
age : 26
height: 5.4
weight: 68kg
target: 57kg and 7inches on waist
BR : 42,39.5,41
way to go 11kg..............i look lik 5mnths pregnant it lookd bad....
THANKS DEAR V VILL B IN TOUCH N ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER
MY DAILY SCHEDULE N DIET
MORNING- 11 am :1cup milk with corn flakes 4 almonds
1fruit at 1
l LUNCH- 2pm: 3 chapatis,1 bowl dal, hlf bowl vege, sme salad n 1bowl curd once in a week sme 1 bowl rice instead of 1 chapati
EVENING- 1 CUP tea with 2-4 biscuts,sme groundnuts smetim smthing fried
DINNER- 2 chapatis n 1 bowl vege
recently i startd walking for 30-40 mins
1 glass milk at 11 pm.
please check my diet n guide me once in a week 1 eat fried or we go out........... i controlled a lot but my MIL lov oily n cooks a lot n orrders so i too tempeted................
frm now v vill b in touch....................i hope v all achieve our target...........

I think for lunch if u r eating rice eat 1 full bowl of rice no need of chapatis again because intake of carbohydrates will be more so u need not eat chapatis again.Eat only one i.e only chapatis or only rice.With cup of tea u can take 2-4 marie biscuts /ground nuts / eat fruits if possible sprouts .Avoid fried items as far as possible.If u can't eat sprouts eat fruits.If u get tempted of fried items eat once in 2 weeks but not daily.U need to control ur tounge strickly if not it takes lot of time to shed weight.Reduce intake of oil .Use 2 tbsps of oil daily while cooking.Walking is good exercise continue it daily without fail for atleast 30 mins.I think u need to do surya namaskaras( atleast 4-6 counts)in the morning if your delivery is not a c-section, in order to shed ur weight quickly,to keep u fit and to be active all the day.U can find guidelines about surya namaskaras in the following post:
Everyday Surya namaskaras.
Do these namaskaras by taking your doctor's advice.They r called SUN SALUTATIONS in English.Drink 2-3 litres of water daily.
In my view these r tips u need to follow strickly.Eat oranges and apples more whenever u feel hungry.They(fruits) provide u not only good health,helps in digestion and make ur skin to glow .Especially by eating oranges helps to reduce the cholestrol levels in ur body. I hope these tips help u alot.When u go out take one apple or orange with u .All i want to say is eat fruits atleast one complete fruit daily.Hope we shed ur weight quickly.
