Hi Friends!

I am new to this group and would like to join.

Height : 156 cms
Weight : 61 kgs
Ideal : 56 kgs
Excess : 5 kgs

I am already a diet plan since January 2009. In Jan I was 67.5 kgs. Due to strict diet and exercises, I have lost 6.5 kgs in July. I would like to reduce 5 more kgs.

My diet plan (as doctors prescription)

Morning : Milk without sugar
Breakfast : Idly (3)/Dosa (2) /Upma (1 cup) /Chappathi(2) /Oats (2 cups)
Snack : Fruits or Vegetable or Sprouts Salad
Lunch : Rice with vegetables, Sambar, Rasam and Curd
Snack : Nuts or Fruits
Dinner : Idly (3)/Dosa (2) /Upma (1 cup) /Chappathi(2) /Oats (2 cups)
Night : Milk with honey

NO Junk food, NO ROOT Vegetables, NO Coconut and NO Fried items.
Whenever you feel hungry, take some fruit instead of Chips.

I follow this stictly and I drink plenty of water and take 4 glasses of hot water every day.

Morning I do some Stretch Exercises and evening I do some floor exercises and I go for walking thrice in a week for 45 minutes.

Any comments on this, please.

Hi All,

I want to join this team and lose weight. Actually I was highly obese and had to shed about 30-35 Kgs. I have managed to lost 15 Kgs till now. I want to lose at least another 5-10 Kgs.
The diet I follow is as follows:

1. Morning: Milk without sugar
2. Breakfast: 1 Dosa with Sambar or 2 Idlies with Sambar or Oats
3. Lunch: Either 3 chapathis and some vegetables with less oil or a small cup of rice with vegetables.
4. Evening snack: Sprouts or bread sandwich
5. Dinner: Only fruits for a couple of days. Other days 2 chapathis

I am stagnating after this 15 Kg loss and I'm not able to proceed further continuing this diet. Can someone tell me any change in pattern?

I walk for half an hour in the evening on alternate days. I a a software professional and that is the maximum I am able to spend on exercising.
Can someone suggest how I can incorporate some exercises in my schedule too?

congrats dear. 15 kgs in not joke to lose???!!!! you have done a great job and am sure must be feeling good

i think you should continue the same and add on a little more of walking or exercise to acheive your goal,

I am proud of you and you should post a pic of yours as to before and after..... for us to see the diff and inspiration.

i also want to join ..
i have reduced 5 kg.. but 5-8 kg still remaining.
I have tried GM diet n Kitchuppa diet.. GM diet is difficult.. K diet is not that bad but I can't live without eating dinner.. it is so difficult..

I'm 20 yrs ikd. my weight er 63 and my height is 162 cm. I work out 5 days a week..

In bf i eat oats with milk. lunch 1 chapati or brown rice or brown bread. In dinner i will take only 1 chapati+sabjee+ salat... in snacks i take milk, almonds and fruits.

Hi,

I'm from Vashi - Navi mumbai. i'm married and have 2 kids.. 3.5 yr old boy and 6 months old baby girl. i've started working just 2 weeks back after my maternity leave. i've gained lot of weight after both c-sections.
following are the details.
Height - 5
current weight - 68
ideal weight - 53

the current diet plan i'm following now is:
  • early morning - cinnamon tea with honey
  • breakfast - poha / upma / oats / porridge / 2 slices bread with 1 egg
  • lunch - 1 chapati with a sabzi & salad / raita
  • snack - 1 fruit plate
  • dinner - 2 chapati, sabzi . 1 chapati, rice, soup
Please comment. i desperately want to lose my access weight.

need a support group.
