Hi ladies, I am new and am also planning to reduce weight by August 2009 to look gorgeous in my daughters bday in september.

My height - 5'5"
Weight - 76
Ideal weight - 55

I need to reduce 20 kgs though not completely by august atleast 70% by then.

hi friends..

tis is sadhana..am 22yrs old..i weigh 73 kgs..i want to lose 15 kgs..i am vegetarian..pl suggest me a good diet where i can lose 1 or 2 kg per week..i have pcos..my doctor asked me to lose weight immediately..as i get periods every 15 days..i am on treatment..even a loss of 5 kg ll improve my health..and make my periods normal.

hi friends,i m new here.i m totally depressed as i was dieting from 1 mth and when i saw my weight yesterday ,i was same ,nothing was reduced.i want 2 reduce weight so eagerly i cant tell u people,i m 70 kgs want 2 reduce15 kgs and i have a 10 mth old babygirl[c-section].i do kapalbhati for 15 mins twice daily and i do yoga regularly.i dont take fried food,sugary food at all,rice twice a week,where am i wrong.i take my dinner last by 7.30.i dont have thyroid problem.please help me friends.i m planning to take acaiberry tablets is it fine if i take them.suggest me please.

Hi Mankan...

Dont loose hope, u have made a start, i think that u should excercise for vigourously, like doing aerobics videos or running, u can find them on the net and you can do it at home, or u can join the gym even better, and try doing some floor excercises. With food eat more green vegetables and fruits and limit dinner to only soups or steamed veggies. Drink 2-3 L of warm water everyday.I wouldnt reccomend you using acai berry...its a scam and it is known to have side effects. Check out this thread Weight Loss Buddy Look at the peoples diet plans, and excercises for more ideas, if u need more help u can ask there as it is quite an active thread. All the best and keep hope

hi sadhana, i 2 had pcod,which i came 2 know when i was not able to concieve for first time but with treatment i got pregnant within a mth.but doctor told me keep weight maintained after delivery as pcod is the main reason 2 put on weight,and i lost 22 kgs 1 yr after delivery with only exercise and diet.after 7 yrs for 2nd baby i went to the same doctor again and after seeing my previous and after reports she was suprised 2 see that my 2nd report was not showing pcod and doc asked me that what have done .i told iwas doing regular exercise and diet and with doc's prescription i was taking metformin tablets. I have regular periods but now again i m on the way 2 loose weight as my 2nd baby is 10 mths old.sometimes i too get depressed but u people r there 2 boost my confidence.love mankan

Hi Aabhi,

I sure would like to join the team. I have also wanted to loose weight for about 3 years now. I start a diet and exercise plan, but found it hard to stick with it. Recently i joined a gym. Past 1 and half months i have been going to the gym regularly. I was 180 lbs and now lost 8 lbs.

My Current weight : 172 lbs
My Ideal weight : 140 lbs
My Height : 65 inches

Hope will achieve my target, though not soon but sure. Good luck to you too.

Since 10months i am trying to loose my weight but i am not able to do.But i amgoing to gym at least weekly 3 or 4 days.

My Present weight Details

Weight : 145 lbs
Height : 5'. 3 ''
BMI : aroung 26.0

Friends please help me out to reduce my weight at least 7 lbs .

hi, i also want to join your team, i am male but i think i can help you in dieting plan because when i started my dieting, my weight is 84.3 kg with waist 42 inches and now in 45 days my weight is 76 kg with waist 39 inches.
i took daily calories between 1300 to 1600 calories
i also write my daily diary of diet on calorie count web site
i also attach one attachment of my daily diet plan, please see this
This diet plan is recommend by health Dr. not took personally
I took almost 60 to 70 gm of protien in this diet but fat only 10 to 15 gm
if you feel this is right then please tell me
my target weight is between 70 to 72 kg
i want to loose half kg on weekly basis
and after reaches target weight i have to took 1800 to 2200 calories daily but in this i have to took low fat with hight protien and fiber ratio
if u don't find attachment i also paste here, please read this and tell me
1st Week:- Current Weight:84.3
Day & TimeDescirptionPerformance
1st Day- Breakfast : 120 ml toned milk with 40 gm wheat flakes of kellogs with half apple
Morning Snack:half apple with water melon or musk melon, almost 400 gm
Lunch:2 roti without ghee with any type of sabji with cucumber raita
Evening Snack:2 marie gold biscuit or 1 cucumber
Dinner:2 roti without ghee with any type of sabji.
Exercises:-25 min yoga with streching exercise
Totals:some time I took rice with sambhar home self made instead of lunch roti, I love thisBad / OK / Good
2nd Day-Breakfast :
Morning Snack:
Lunch:almost same every day.
Evening Snack:some times I took morning break fast again in evening snaks when I feel hungry
Dinner:I took 12 to 15 glass of water every day
Exercises:-
