Early Rise - Challenge

    Hi Friends,

    As you all know, I'm in the mission of reducing my weight..

    My strength is I eat lots of fruits, veggies, soup..
    My main drawback is waking up late in the morning..

    I seriously want to wake up early.. So that I can do my workout in the morning.
    From tom onwards, I want to wake up at 6.00 am.

    I know it is not very early, but in this Bangalore climate, I can't wake up even at 6. So now my target is waking up at 6.00 am..
    (Have 1 glass of warm water, 30 mins of workout and then starting preparing food for bf and lunch.. start to office at 8. This is my schedule for morning)

    Anyone wanna join with me??
    We will motivate each other..

    Dear Sabari

    Just the Challenge that i needed, i have exams coming up so i would love the extra time to start cramming so im in, so from tommorow i'll wake up early around 5:30-6:30 as well.

    Wow.. Super.. I got a companion..
    After hearing the word exams from you, I'm also reminded of my exams in Dec.. This month I'll wake up at 6.. Next month I'll plan to wake up by 5..
    First we'll wake up by 6..

    A much needed challenge for me . Thanks Sabari . Daily I keep alarm at 5.50 AM ; To finish my workout by 7 AM . But I wake up by 7.15 AM . By that time my DH and DD would wake up and she will start crying ; My maid would come by 7.30 ; I reach office late ; I would miss my workout ; Waking up late messes up the whole day .I too want to bring in the discipline of waking up at 6 AM daily .

    I too want to join you both in loosing weight and getting up early...though the priority is loosing weight:)
    I get up at 5.30 and have to get two (tiffins+snacks)+breakfast ready and then my two kids ready by 7. So i have to finish things in a rush...have to wake up latest by 5 so that things can be done peacefully and without rising tempers..
    Once the kids leave, I have around one hour to myself which i want to start exercising...or anything-2-2 to loose weight:)
    Plan to update daily...hope all goes as planned...

    Hi Priya, Thanks for joining us.. The same happens with me except that I'm not having a kid.. We'll change the habit and will become a good disciplined wife/mom..

    nice challenge. I used to be waking up at 5.30, now with the dark mornings, it is quite difficult. Just today managed to scramble out of bed at 6 am

    I too will join this challenge. 6 am it is!!

    Hi Young@Heart,

    Good that you are waking up at 5.30.. You can wake up at 5 and once you can have a nap in the afternoon if you want.. We'll update daily.. :)

    everyday i'm thinking to wake up at 6 & do workout for 30 -45 min...bt till now i'm not able to do tht...
    so from tomorrow, i'll definetely do that & update the timing..
