    Hi,

    Its always interesting to know about low cal recipes which we can eat guilt free during weight loss. Always interesting to see how a calorie laden dish is transformed into a low cal version. This thread is about sharing and discussing such weight loss recipes. Tried and tested recipes that worked during weight loss.

    Waiting to hear more from you and hope you guys will pour in lots of recipes (and if possible mouth watering pics.)

    After I understood the advantages of eating healthy, I have made permanent changes to eating style:

    Weight loss or not, salad is a part of my every day food. I have variations :


    1. Tomato+cucumber+carrot - squeeze lime + coriander + little chat masala
    2. Tomato+cucumber + Curd+ coriander and I add one slit green chilli
    3. Sprouts of Methi seeds (or green mung) + tomato+ squeeze lime+ coriander+ little black salt

    This forms a major portion of my meal

    I make sprouts twice a week - once it is with methi seeds and next time with green mung. Each time I make it comes for 3 days

    @Priya16 - Thanks for liking the thread. The idea belongs to Alpa, it was her idea to start this thread. It surely will help lot of people.

    @Savvy - I am good dear. Its been long since I heard from you. Even I am waiting to hear lots of recipes from others.

    @PTamil - Wow and thanks for the contribution. Adding sprouted methi seeds is a good addition to salads, I am gonna try it tomorrow (will sprout the methi seeds today).

    hello

    the best way to reduce the calorries are to use low fat oil, ghee, butter etc. and also reduce the quantity of the oil.
    olive oil does not increase the weight. u can use that in abundance.
    also porridge helps in filling ur stomach 4 a long time. so the intake of food is automatically reduced.

    Dear Melon

    Take a glass jar (you can use any glass bottles for this). I have a sprouting jar which is nothing but a glass jar with perforated lid

    THe first day soak methi seeds in water
    After 24 hours, drain that water, rinse again and let it be
    Repeat this process of rinsing for 2-3 days.
    Depending on the climate of the place you live in, it should sprout well within 3-4 days
    Mine doubles in volume in 4 days.

    Same is the process of anything sproutable

    hugs to you my friend thank you starting this thread. The idea of this thread is to share our weight loss secrets to our dear ilites and have them try it.

    my favourite cucumber and tomato salad
    1 tomato
    1 cucumber
    salt and chilli powder
    chop the cumcumber, slice the tomatoes
    mix them in a bowl add thesalt and chilli powder and have it.
    its a feeling salad i really love it
    i had it today.
