    Vidya,

I will try to catch up over the week end too.Looks like we are not hearing from hass and some other members.

In our festival cooking, there is lot of rice involved. When you have to eat next time, choose some protein also along with rice items. Then you can balance out.

    On Saturady,which is Day 7 I had

    BF:Oats+moong dal dosa(anyone interested and it's yummy)
    Lunch:Brown rice+dal+Bitter Gourd curry
    Evening tea
    Dinner:11/2 pizza+some Indian snacks.

    No exercise

    Sunday Day8

    BF:Ate some chicken fry
    lunch:White rice 11/2cup+lot of vegetables curries+some dal+some sugar(sweet)
    Evening:Tea+1 chocolate
    Dinner:1/4 cup brown rice+chicken
    No Exercise

Again from today, I am having my schedule back.

I have been fallowing good diet from past 2 months but lot of hick up in exercise. But ,I see lot of difference in body.I can see my fat mobilized lot.Only to get out of the system,I may have to focus more seriously on exercise part.I am trying my best in my capability.

Yeah my weekend diet was not up to the mark but here are some positive points:

-avoided ice cream/whipped cream at my friend's house
-her cake was prepared in a healthier way (she said)
-had strawberries along with it to balance out :thumbsup

    Vidya,

Me and my Husband are big fans of this bitter gourd. It really depends on what kind of person you are.

Lot of people soak bitter gourd in curd and cook and take out water from it to reduce bitterness. But I don't do that.Because we can really eat it.

I use similar way using oven to avoid oil.I can cook 2kg of bitter ground with 11/2 TBS in this method but I use oven.

There are lot of ways do it.It just depend on your taste.

Mahanandi » Bitter Gourd Chips (Karela Fries)

    1.I cut them in circles.
2.Put 1/2TBS and toss with salt and chilli powder + lot of garlic
3.Keep in oven baked for 30min
4.Add 1TBS oil and add onions and toss them and add the Bitter gourd to it and toss them for 4-5min and it will done.
5.We will eat mostly with dals.

Or you can make like any "pulusu" which you make

    1.Cut onions and fry
2.Add bitter gourd and let it cook
    3.Add salt+Chilli power
4.Add tamarind + some jeggary to it
5.Add whatever the spices you add normally
    5.Cook until it done.

I am going to try this over baked tindora

    Day 10

Breakfast: 2 pieces of Dutch baby

Lunch: 1 bowl of cereal and one (egg+cheese) tortilla (whole wheat tortilla, homemade with less cheese)

Dinner: Salad (with honey mustard dressing) (fulfilling quantity)

    No snacks.

My day 9 was not up to the mark. I don't remember exactly what my diet was but I ate rice for dinner, around 6pm. Hopefully, such a situation should not rise up again.

Avoiding desserts, sweets, fatty foods, chips and sodas as usual.

See you all tomorrow, ladies! Keep up the good efforts!
