Default Life's Styles and need for changes to keep our body and soul in trim conditions...

My Dear Friends,

The present day fast food habits spoiled our health to a great extent.

We neither have the patience to have the neccessary exercise or control our mouth.

Right from the morning till we go to bed we have been under tensions, lot's of work load, trafic delays adds some more stress, day to day ordeals to meet the commitments adds furthur frustrations, untimely breakfast, lunch, excess use of masala items with fast food dishes, long hours of working, late night dinner coupled with our partying habits etc.,

Do we justify our time with necessary breaks, do we spend some time with kids, do we interact with our partners & elders, do we able to spend the week ends with family or friends....think about it.

Late night sleeps eventually takes us to late raising in the mornings. Right from morning all activities of urgent bath, rushing up to office with or without breakfast, transport delays to reach office in time & on the way chip in to any restaurent ( mostly fast food counters, with little samosa's, kachori, vada pav, missal pav, some times unwanted beverages )

Then attending office with pending matters to clear first, emergency meetings, customer calls, usual routine work etc., break for few seconds to have a puff or chew pan or a cup of tea.., attending phone calls...Lunch time nearing ....already late to enter office again, usual work, bickkering from seniors adds fuel to shed more strain....leaving office, attending some house hold work on the way home...reaching home after the long drive in the usual trafic snurls, feel like already drained ... Tv show operas, newspapers, kids enquire some items or wife wants some things to be purchased, rush up to market or shops...fulfill them, by the time already late for the dinner....immediate sleep with out waiting for few hours...day ends up....brooding over incidents happened at office / home....What a Life...

The same thing can be made more peaceful and pleasurable by going for a slight change withour pattern of living will make us feel healthy and joy ful.

How ??? Many of us knows it, yet unwilling to go for it.....

Get up early morning, ease our selves, drink 3 glasses of warm water, read newspaper or view news channels for 10 minitues, few exercises, have a chill water bath, take some light veg salads with snacks.

Start early to reach office in time without any tensions, cool, calm mind of attentions to "day to day work" clear the files, discuss few points of vital with seniors, break for a cup of coffee or tea. Lunch at 1' o clock with curd and veg meals, start a fresh, attend work...

Leave office, make calls home to find out the day's needs, finish shopping on the way itself, come home, sit with family members for few hours, discuss & view their points, counsel them, take advices from elders when the need comes...dinner around 9- 9.30 ..walk for 15 minitues, log on to PC view mails, browse till 11pm , go to bed ....

Food intake with all cereals, nourished meals, curd, vegetables, banana or some fruits...enough water ( at least 3 litres per day )
See the change....Health is Wealth...

A peace ful mind is worth a million...

Hi Subbu SIr,
You have vividly desribed the day to day routine.Specifically in IT life the stress is too high!If you do not plan a day, it goes for a toss.

As you have metnioned, Getting up early and planning the mundane activites will be of greater help.

Subbu - You are right in pointing out the lifestyle changes that are taking a toll on healthy living. There are too many food products available and while they claim to be fast to cook, they are fast on the body too because of the chemical preservatives that are used in excess.

Yes if we think it is difficult, it is difficult always, where as when we give ourselves a try, it becomes simple and there is no doubt nothing is affordable without any efforts.

Many people in the present society are vexed with tensions, anxiety and stress due to their priorities not being met in time.
