help-kannu agide maguvige...but dono how to remove

hi everybody,

while we were in bangalore as they tell in hindi kisi ki nazar lag gayi hai bacche ko....we could do it in traditional method ..but when we leave our home country and come to live in US we cannot do as our tradition anything..but since i would like to do it for my kid...since i am a new mom..i would like somebody to suggest me how to do it

it sounds to be superstitious but as a mom i want some help
mein apne bache ka nazar utharna chahungi...but need help for this since i dont know how to do it

This is what I did and still do with my family here in US. As per my grandmother's advice.
take a hand ful of cooking salt in your left hand.
Touch the forehead to foot with it by saying "hade kannu beedhe kannu drishtiyadha kannu ketamukkahana kannu taye kannu nari kannu patt patt patt seediliee".
do it three times or five times and put the salt in the sink and run water as you wash your hands.
Belief is as the salt melts kannu also melts.

Do what we do for Naza Utharna. Put a tiny black dot (Kajal will do) on your baby's face. That will help.

you can do it with cooking salt or dry red chillies in the procedure told by ars.

Hi..The suggestions are often practiced apart from that you can also try using black thread tied around neck or wrist....

light camphor on the doorstep in the evening
and make the child see it...
this will remove all ``eye'' stuff
