    Hi All:
    I have very long forhead. I want to cover it up to a certain extent for my reception. As it is reception..i cannot use the temple design nethuchudi..

    i want something little small...to be all over the side of my forhead also.. not just the centre..

    something like the heroine in this song.. dillu bar jaane song from Kalaignan (tamil)

    do anyone know where we can get such thing in bangalore?

    AVM, have seen online sites that sell something similar and deliver in the US. For sure, it must be in India too, search using the term "Gold tikka" instead of nethi chutti, for many use this in their site.

    GRT Jewels-Goldsmith, the newer shop in Chennai has this and other temple designs, not always in gold.

    They are lovely designs.. but i dont want to buy in gold. as i wud never use them after my marriage.
    it is only for one day. I could spend 1250 max for this. I am trying all means. Hope i will find one before m marriage.

    Yeh AVM, did you ask any parlours for the rented jewellery?

    Also any bharatha natyam schools may have some leads...

    Btw, stay calm and ask around, nothing can look more beautiful than a well rested/not-stressed face :thumbsup

    AVM, Nowadays the Jodha Akbar sets are very much in vogue for the receptions. I saw some very beautiful sets where the nethi sutti is wide and contemporary. Not sure about where you get in Bangalore. I can help you with shops in Chennai though. All the best with your search.
