Jewellery to bring to usa

    Hello everyone! I'm moving to usa in two weeks from uk. I'm not sure what and how much jewellery I could bring there for my personal use. Right now I'm thinking of one kada bangle and a small ruby necklace set, 4 pairs of earring, 4 rings. This is what I've been using here in uk. But is it ok to bring them there? Did anyone face any problems at the usa airport? And did u wear them or carry them in ur handbag
    kindly pour in ur suggestions plz.

    Hi Poo,
    I have never gravelled from UK to USA but I have from India to USA and vice a versa. I have never had problems carrying jewelry coz I mostly wore them and kept very little in the check in. Not advisable to hand carry. U can wear the kada and a couple of rings and wear one set of earrings. The rest shou should not give you any trouble at the airport. Have a happy journey and good luck. Even better and specific questions can be answered by the airline customer helpline people. The toll free number should be mentioned in your ticket. Ask them max grams of gold which can be carried without having to declare to their customs. But m sure you ll be well within the limit.

    I don't think there is a problem with your jewelry to bring from UK to USA.
