re:designer clothes for less in chennai

Hi ladies
iam a new member here and would like to get some suggestions. can anyone name me shops in chennai where i can get designer salwars and sarees for less price. i had a look at some showrooms like rangoli,sonas,moksha in chennai but they were very expensive.can u name some where i can get the same for much less price?

Ideal place is Purasaiwalkam and SOwcarpet

If you go to sowcarpet you must know to bargain very well..Else i am sorry please never think about it..

Otherwise try any shop in purasaiwalkam..Out of 10, 7 sarees will be designer wear , same case in salwars too

Shops in Purasaiwalkam are :-

1.Textile India
2. SKC (huge collections of sarees)
3. Madharsha

Hi,

Be specific on what you are looking in designer wear. If it is sarees, then Mint street is a good place. If salwars, then I am not very sure!

There is not a single place in sowcarpet/parrys corner where you can bargain! It is a complete wholesale market, so they would probably look down at you if you want to buy one saree. And definately no reduction from the price they say. If you continue to bargain, they will just walk off, leaving us to wonder who is paying!
