| Suna, As Puni has mentioned 24K is pure gold-soft and more valuable 22K is mixed with copper.More resilient for patterns. What you wish to buy depends on the purpose. When I wish to invest in gold, I buy 24 or 23 carat biscuits or thick chains. Later, when I need jewellery, I convert them into 22 carat jewellery. But if I need jewellery directly, I have to buy 22 carat. Last week, I bought some Arabian jewellery. They have a lot of stone work and are available only in 21 carat. Since it was good gfold and beautiful, I had no qualms on the gold being 21 carats. |
