Aval vikatan published an article regarding Fashion Jewellery making in 2007. They also published where to get the materials in places all over tamil nadu. Could anybody tell where can I find jewellery making materials in Chennai, trichy and pondy?

i am mona. newly joined in IL. i am very much interested in fashion jewellery. i am in coimbatore. can any one help me in finding the shop where to get all the things needed for making fashion jewellery in coimbatore.

At Coimbatore the materials all are available at Gandhipuram. I bought all the things from there. The shops name i forget. But it is near Kalanjali. l 4 or 5 shops after Kalanjali this shop is available.Even from road you can see the shop.
All the varities are available there. The orange colour necklace made by me and showed here is done by the materials bought there.

In Trichy - IL Member Praveena1981 told there is a shop in trichy that sells these materials and also conducts regular classes.

Pondy - No idea

Chennai - Here, I can rattle tons!
T.Nagar - Raja Thread Stores, Pandian Stores
Parrys - Narayana Mudali Street, Perumal Mudali Street. Shops - OSWAL, Bhavanee Enterprises and such...many shops are there actually.
