 Gold Jewellery Yesterday, I saw an advertisement which states that 916 gold is not as pure as BIS certified gold and hence asks us not to be cheated by buying 916 gold. Is it true ?      |

916 is 91.6% pure gold and BIS is Bureau of Indian Standards- HALLMARKING SCHEME is same as hall marked gold. BIS is just a certification from government. Now a days u can check the purity of gold in purity meter before buying them Karthi |
