    Vjbunny, Condition means - keeping clay ball in between your palms and kneading it thoroughly...just like you would do chapathi dough. This is to make sure clay gets soft and while you are making round ball in between your palms, the clay gets better and flexible.

    I don't know what is salt dough...will check it though!

    Hi Sphema, I guess there is no alternative to my knowledge, you need to have oven or klin that potter is using. This polymer clay requires extreme heat to get firm and durable.

    Other suggestion I can tell you if you dont have oven is to buy air dry clay and practice. Air dry clay...as name suggests it will dry in the air after you make clay beads/pendant. You can touch water little bit & knead the air dry clay to condition and try learning clay beads.
