Candles of Nainital

I have been to Nainital and its full of scenic beauty as well as beautiful carved candles . Can one learn candle carving at Nainital ? There are many candlemaking workshops over and they make gorgeous candles !!

Your post reminded me of my visit to Nainital. It was lovely. I remember buying a couple of candles and gifting them as souvenoirs to my near and dear ones.
You must have seen the Nainital lake and the boats with sails on them. My favorite candle is the one of boat with a white and blue sail on it. It reminds me of Nainital everytime I see it.
A note of caution : Some one suggested to me to keep the candles in the fridge for a few minutes in the heat of Indian summer so that they do not start melting away.

I too bought the boat candle ,it stayed fine during the winter but wilted in the summer heat. Same thing happened with a carved candle , but they are beautiful no doubt . We have been to Simla, Mussorie but only Nainital has these beauties !
