Hi, I just joined the group and I was very surprised to see no forum topics related to Rishikesh, which is the gateway to the region and the Yoga Capital of the World. Wonder why this is so? Any opinions?
If you have lived in Rishikesh, please enlighten me as to how you find it, including the quality of mundane services like water and sewage. I have great interest in moving to India and living in Rishikesh, due to its good weather, unmatched spiritual flavor and proximity to Delhi. I am planning to spend six months there in 2010 with my wife.
If you have visited Rishikesh, what was the single most enjoyable event of your stay? Any kind of event, e.g. spiritual, social or physical. I am retired at 63 and looking to do something sustainable for the near future.
