Akhnoor-Jammu

This is a historic town with the ruins of the Indus-valley civilisation spread along the river Chenab. The whole area commands a panoromic view. A nice place to be in.

But though it is a nice place but at the same time people do not go out after 8.00pm. The security is tough. And it is a place where the you will find terrorist as well as military.

Well to hear it is quite scary but the beauty of the place is praise worthy.

Yes I have heard about the The Amar Mahal Palace Museum, but was never fortunate to visit there..

The museum building forms the major part of the majestic Amar Palace, which has a French touch in its architectural style.

It has rich collection of exhibits, including sculptures, paintings, inscriptions and books.

When I heard these facts about the place I had that excitement to go and give a visit. sometimes even imagining how nice it might be.. Can anyone please tell me more about it?
