Ganesh Tok is a very small temple located next to the television tower on the hillock on Gangtok–Nathula road. Ganesh Tok is located 7 km from Gangtok. The altitude of this spot would be 6,500 m. This temple is devoted to lord Ganesh. It is so small; it can just accommodate one person. One must crawl to get into the temple.
Sitting atop the hill across the valley from the town, is one of the most picturesque gompas (Buddhist temples) in Sikkim. It is a short 30 minute walk uphill from the town, and the amazing backdrop of snow-capped peaks makes this a worthwhile stroll.

Hanuman Tok: Hanuman Tok is situated 5 km uphill from the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok. It is posited at an altitude of 7200 feet above mean sea level. From the temple the pilgrims can get a panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks of Khangchendzonga. The temple also presents a bird's eye view of the Selep waterworks. As far as the religiosity is concerned, the deity worshiped here is that of Hanuman, a God of the Hindus. A short distance from the temple lies the cremation ground of the royal family of Sikkim.
