my LO had it in her 2-3 week. Doctor noticed it and he said it was a mild infection and prescribed a drops... He also said it cud be becoz of blocked tear ducts and asked us to do a mild massage over the nose... It is better u can discuss this with your doctor though it is nothing to worry...

Vidyaa

Its because of the blocked tear duct.. My DD had discharge and with the help of drops and massage as instructed by Paed. its no more now..

Pattimas used to massage the nose bridge while bathing the infants.. Mukku eduthu vidurathu. chappa mukku irukka kudathunnu indirectly its for opening the tear duct...

With clean hands Massage long strokes from the tear ducts of eyes to nose bridge or just massage the tear ducts in circular motions. It will help to open the tear ducts..
