Hi Rekha, Malyatha, Suman, Sanarun,
Thanks for joining me.
Sahana your daughter is adorable. Sahana is a nice name and means melody I am sure by your mail you are having a ball of a time together.
May I request all to please keep your baby tickers on. It becomes difficult for me to know the age of the baby though not needed but helps at times. Also if you can mention your baby birth dates.
To All
Are you maintaining a baby record book. I have one, it is very helpful. I have taken her footprints and handprints in the second week after her birth. Now I record everything in the book right from her first smile to first roll. Anything additional like when I first pierced her ear I make a note on the last blank page. I plan to give it to her someday, once she grows up. My DH captures small videos of her may be crying, laughing, crawling may be we can show it to her some day.
BTW my baby's name is Lenora which means Light in greek. My baby's DOB is 15.05.09.
About my baby's activities
L got up @ 7 am and played for a while and then gave her a bath @ 8 am and then her bf. I put her on the bedding today. Now that she sits up I have moved her from the quilt to a bedding surrounded by pillows for better protection. I found her very comfortable on the bedding and she sat for around 10 mins today and then fell down boom

L tries to crawl and tries to go on fours. You know what I see that Dabur tail is doing wonders on her. I massage her during the nights and I find the oil good. I am seeing the difference. After about 9.30 am found her sleeping

I left for office @ 11 am.
DD nose was a bit stuffy yesterday and took her to the doc. He said everything is fine. Gave iron tonic for DD. One more week to go to start my DD on all the semi solids may be it is going to increase my work but anything for my DD what say
I take my DD down in the park @ 6.30 pm and get her home @ 7.15 pm by then she sleeps for half an hour. Once she wakes up I sing her some nursery rhymes do some sounds of animals, she actually likes all these and laughs merrily. By 10 pm she is off to sleep. Then I catch some serials, have dinner and wind off to bed.
About DH
DH has gone to Chennai, will come back in a week. Will be managing with the maid. My mother might join us. DH is not around this weekend we may be at home only.
Suman, Rekha,
I was just remembering - I used to give a sponge bath at nights and then swaddle and this helped in putting DD to sleep. Even now I do the same. My DD goes to sleep @ 9.30 pm max to max 10 pm. Also early in the morning when DD was not sleeping I use to play some holy hymns and DD used to like them.
After about three months you can buy some rattling toys and teethers. This is the time when most of the things go in the mouth.
Hang on till about three months you will get to know the difference.
Let me know how all of you manage.
