Vishnuhari, are you exclusively breast feeding? My midwife told it is completely normal for exclusiively breastfed babies not to pass stools for upto 5-6 days.
Nodding to what Rekha said. Completely normal. Please do not give her anything, your exclusively breastfed baby needs nothing at all. Not even water. Some breastfed children are known to go up to two weeks before they made a nice big, fat poop. Mine used to go every four days like clockwork till we started solids at around 7.5 months.
Agree to tikka - Mine is exclusively BFd and in the initial days, she used to pass stools once in 3-4 days. So, you can wait for 2-3 more days. Don;t worry.
Hi sry for my delayed updation, like u people said our Doctor also said breastfeeding babies normally have this problem,he advised me not 2 give any water, raisin etc. now she started passing stool 3-4 days gap(one/2 time )
