Default Re: Suggestions for my baby's sleep disorder

Hi Nalini,

I 've the same problem with my kid. He won't cry but want to play when he feels sleepy, every child have thier own way.

I will put my son in the bed and whenever he wants to play in the middle, will ask him to sleep. i will also lie down near him and close my eyes, take a deep breath and relax myself. By this method you won't be stressed out.

This is what i do for my kid and it works out for me.Intially it took 1 hour for him to go to sleep now a days with 20 minutes he falls asleep :)

If your kid is crying try to make her calm first. you can gently massage the eyebrows, under the eye with the your fingers.

As other members say check for her hunger before starting the sleeping routine.

best way is take her a good child specialist......
*check her wich make her discomfort......solve this(she may hungry, colic pain)
*don't force her to sleep in daytime..when she'll get tired autometically want to sleep.
*after shower baby feel fresh n sleepy...give her warm bath.

here I gave u a attachment where u get some idea how to take care ur baby.

Hi,
I would like to suggest few ideas which worked well for my son when he was 4 months old.I delivered him in India and he was used to sleeping in the sling(tottil). We moved to london when he was 4 months old.It was a nightmare coz he would scream to sleep(no indian tottil). One of our relatives suggested to make sling. We bought an outdoor swing and instead of the seat we tied the saree and made him sleep. He slept for hours once we made him sleep in that.I know that in abroad this is not in practice. But if u wish u can try.
There is an alternative, put in the stroller and go for a walk as long as he falls asleep.Or a long drive will do.
Before doing this pls ensure that there is no underlying medical cause.Losing patience always happens when we have to look after the baby single handedly.Keep calm.Every stage passes. All the best.
Bye,
supriya
