    According to my paed the 6th,10th and 14th week will cost 7000 each ....this is for pneumocooccal, rotavirus and Pentaxim and hep B. Is that true... Aadhusmom can u clear this doubt for me

    Yes, thats true. If you give the vaccines you have mentioned then it will cost that much. If you dont mind the fever/fussing you can opt for regular DTP instead of Pentxim (DTaP) - that costs less than 1/3 the price of Pentaxim. Also Pneumo and rota are optional - you should do some reading and talk to the ped before deciding. Pneumo is the single most expensive of the lot - roughly 4000 Rs.

    Forgot to add: You can also space the vaccines out a bit - thats what I did btw. That way you avoid 3 shots at one go.

    But I am still worried about the pricing for this....because 2 cycles for the above mentioned are reamaning to complete.

    Can any one suggest is the pricing are real one ...any other way to reduce the cost without removing this vaccines. ????? .....Tooo Costlly....
