hey girls,
we went to dusseldorf for a wedding last evening. quite a long drive... 7 hrs with pit stops but the kids slept through most of the time. but so hard for me not to fall asleep sitting next to the driver. y'day i realised i prefer indian chai over coffee. just couldn't take the cappucino smell even!!
anyways we stayed in a lovely hotel and had a nice time at the dinner as well. the groom is an ex-colleague of DH... i really really enjoyed the surprise and awed looks on everyone's face when i made appearance in saree LOL!! too bad we couldn't stay till the desserts coz the kids couldn't hold any longer. met some friends this morning and drove back. now my whole body is aching. DH travelling a lot this month. i was into cooking so much the past 3 months and suddenly i have to cook for 1... hmmm challenging.
Raj,
so happy to have you back. I can see you in Riya... she has taken after you in socialising (and looks too ofcourse!)... so is your mom here next month? must be more fun...
thank you all so much for the encouraging words. i spoke to my brother on friday and he asusual cleared my mind. he's 4 yrs younger to me but has the gift of looking at issues by stepping aside..
Sindhu,
my relation with ILs can't get any worse. i'm only scared that me and DH would not enjoy the same companionship if we were to live with my in-laws
all have a good start to the week. i have tons to do but well these are never ending chores. it's autumn in the air.. suddenly chilly. A can't understand why he has to wear jackets now. and his sis screams the moment a cap is in sight... i too hate those layers!!!
