    Dear ILs
My friends baby is just 4 weeks old and she noticed a red lump in her baby's head. Paed told it's the birthmark and extra blood vessels and it's most common with girl babies. He diagnosed it as " Capillary Hemangioma " / " Strawberry Hemangioma " . It has to go away by itself after few months / years.
She's worried as it's 4 week old baby and I'm posting here on her behalf looking for some suggestions... Anyone have any experience facing this condition for baby and how long it took for the CH to go completely.
    Pl share ur exp...
    Thanks in advance ...

@priyaindusladie, it can take up to 10 years to subside. She should follow up with her pediatrician. Usually, there's no need to do anything other than observe.

Tell her to enjoy her baby and not to worry. :)

Quite normal in some kids. She does not need to do anything. Will go away on its own. Have seen it go away in friend's kid around 2 years of age.
