    Hello ladies

    Am new to Indus.. Glad to be here..

    Am a mom based out of Bangalore. My daughter is 1.5 years old but not started taking.

    Could you please suggest some resources or any advice on the same.

    Make your kid ask for things instead of just taking care of all her needs instantly. She may never had any urgent reason to speak. Just remember, speaking timeframe is different for kids.

    Hi Nandhini,

    My daughter too didnt speak until she was 2+ yrs. then in around a months time she started to talk a lot. Try talking to her more..explain her all that she comes across. Dont respond to her actions ...so she will try to open her mouth n talk.

    Is she responding to sounds and noises... like when the phone rings, or some ad on TV.. and is she making noises herself and calling you maa.. if so nothing to worry..
