My airline agent told me I can carry carry cot kind for my baby who is 1 yr old. So I am confused now. We have flight soon and we do not have lot of time.
is it helpful to buy and carry something like that? some inflatable or collapsible? Did any one try that? Bassinet might not be enough for my 1 yr old girl So I thought babies stays on lap in that case, unless airlines prove something.

Please suggest. If it is useful, where can I find it in store? I am taking just regular stroller ( not umbrella) without car seat and that will go away at boarding time.

I have not used carry cots. I have not seen parents bringing carry cots too. I have traveled 10 long flights with my 2 kids when they were infants/toddler stage.

I feel you can try for a bassinet. If not just find empty seats?

Call the airline you are using and get a clarification. Asking travel agent or online folks will not give you a definitive answer as every airline has their own policies. Thinking you are just going to get some empty seat...well, good luck on that one.
