My 11 mon old has dandruff patch from a long time even though I keep her hair oiled all the time. Mostly I used mustard oil or coconut oil.
I tried to comb it out few times.
Is it psoriasis? Do I need to call doc for medicated shampoos ? Is there any home remedy?

It is cradle cap also known as atopic dermatitis in broader terms. For my DD it was way too severe. Her hair had completely fallen off.
You need to comb after oiling her hair to remove dandruff. Too much of oil on the head will only make it persistent.

Doctors do prescribe steroids for removing the patch. But this is done only if it is bothering the child. If your LO is not bothered by it, then just leave it. It will go away on its own.

Selsun shampoo was suggested by a pediatrician.
