Hi Members, I had my 2 month baby take his shots on his doctor visit and they gave him 2 injections and drops for rota virus. I am not sure if they covered all the vaccines with 2 injections. My neighbor has a 2 month baby and they said she got 3 injections but no drops. Not sure if that is the right way to think that my baby got all the vaccines he needs. There are about 5 diseases(HepB, RV, DTap, Hib, PCV, IPV) I guess they vaccine for. I plan to check with my doctor. If you can share your knowledge on how these work, it would be great! Thanks, Lavanya.
Yea don't worry. Your two injections and drops are fine at two months. They have one injection for all five diseases. The list that your doc checks, after giving shots, check that to ensure if you are worried about which vaccines are covered or not. Talk to the doc directly.
@Lavanya Check this link: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/downloads/parent-ver-sch-0-6yrs.pdf Polio will be drops. Remaining will be given as combination vaccine. Ask your paed about the schedule that they are following.
